#2

Hello all my dearies, I hope your day is going well! It's pretty sunny today and I can hear the birds singing loud and clear out my window. I went to the library today and got a few new books, and my books I mean manga, and my few I mean way too many 😅.

I can read them pretty fast considering that they are mostly drawings, and aren't that thick. In fact that one in the top middle, I finished the first volume in less than an hour. I got "Black Bullet" because I thought that the cover art was really pretty, and it reminded me of an anime I'm watching currently. The library updated their return policy and now you book gets automatically renewed if nobody put it on hold, isn't that great? Along with the mangas, I am also reading "Sumer Bird Blue" by Akemi Dawn Bowman. It's the first book I've read that isn't on NewYork Times bestseller list, at least I don't think it is. I guess the mangas aren't NewYork time best sellers either, but they are Japanese sooooooo...

Summer bird blue has really good reviews though, and many of the reviews are by best-selling authors, so I am positive that this book is great.

I finished a drawing for art class today, the teacher was kind enough to let me work on it over the weekend. It was for our character concept design unit, and I'm pretty sure I nailed it. This cuties name is Miriam Ann and she is 11 years old. She delivers eggs from her dads' farm to her aunts' bakery. I decided to do this one in colored pencil since the paper that we had to use made the alcohol liner pens bleed, and the only pens that didn't bleed ran when they got wet. I'd say I did well, considering that I rarely use colored pencils. I do need to work on my layering but I am proud of her hair, it matches the color from my reference photo exactly! I used mostly Prisma colored pencils on this since my Crayola pencils are in storage. Prisma has a weird smell and is so full of pigment its hard to get light gradients. When I showed this drawing to my dad he said I should make a children's book, you know to write and illustrate it. He also said if I do that he will get me NVB's (aka night vision binoculars) that I really want.

Did you know that it isn't illegal to use binoculars to spy on someone? As long as you aren't trespassing on private property you can watch them all you like! Well you see, there are apartments across the creek, and I can see a window clearly through the trees...

And before you say that I am a weirdo its only fair because they are always playing loud music when I want to sleep and last night they were setting off fireworks. FUCKING FIREWORKS! God, I hate them and id love to see what they look like. I bet they look like an asshole.

I can't wait to get those NVB's, there's also a lot of birds in my neighborhood that I would like to see better!

That's all Honey-Bunnies, I might post later today but I'm not sure.
